Registration policy

This page explains how a slot on a public course is held, paid for and changed. It applies to people who register and pay for themselves. Offices that use a package or are invoiced follow their own agreement with MoroAcademy.

Holding your slot

When you register, we hold a slot for you for 48 hours while you pay. If we have not received your payment details by then, the slot is released for someone else.

Registration closes 5 days before the first session, unless the course page says otherwise.

Paying

You can pay online or by transfer. Your order page offers both.

Online. Choose Pay online. A secure page from our payment provider, PayMongo, shows a QR Ph code to scan with GCash, Maya or your bank app. Your slot is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through, and we email you.

Bank transfer or GCash. Your order page shows the account to pay into, the exact amount and the reference to write in the transfer note. After you pay, submit the transfer reference on the order page. We check it against our account records, usually on the same business day, and email you when your slot is confirmed.

Refunds

We offer a refund in three cases:

• you paid twice for the same slot;
• you paid more than the course fee, in which case we return the difference;
• we cancel the course, in which case you may choose a refund or a transfer.

In any other case, course fees are not refunded.

If you cannot attend

Ask us to move your paid slot to a later run of the same or another course at the same or a lower price. You can do this at any time before the first session starts.

Your certificate

Enter your name as it should appear on your certificate. You can correct it on your order page until the certificate is issued.
